New Around Here
Dear developers,

Already for a couple of firmwares the Advanced Wireless page is broken and not loaded completely. The last update 380.65 I hoped that the WebGUI bug, explained in the Chagelog, would solve the problem, but it didnt.
I cannot adjust any settings anymore with any browser. The router is a RT-AC87U.
The page is shown only for the lower half, (no banner- or side links available).

What devices are you using to access that page? What browsers are you using, just give some example? Have you tried factory reset and JFFS format?

Most likely he is using chrome or Safari those two browsers I see the most issues with when looking at post.

I recommend Firefox never have an issue with it.

I have no GUI issues here on any Windows or Android device. If you see the same issue carry on over 2 upgrades something in your install is probably corrupted.

It sounds like it's time to factory reset.

Its happening with any browser. The FF browser show little more details dan other ones. But both the border left (button links) and header (version details, etc) and tabs options are gone.

Does the backup also backup the jffs partion and custom certificates for OpenVPN?

Open the browser console and look for any Javascript error.

I get a referenceError: initial is not defined, Onload http://192.168.1.1/Advanced_Wireless_Content.asp.

The strange thing is, that I have search for ASP files on the file system. And if I paste for example Advanced_WAdvanced_Content.asp instead of Advanced_Wireless_Content.asp behind the IP, the Prefessional tab is shown, and also other tabs are accessable. When I go to LAN settings and back to Wireless the page is broken again.

What do I need to backup if I want to de factory reset? Which files are removed with a factory reset and need to be backup?

I got exactly the same issue with multiple os (win/mac) / browser (safari/chrome).
Advanced_Wireless_Content.asp working fine.
Tried to disable the 2.4 and 5ghz radio and then reenable them without success.

I ended up restoring to factory default and restoring settings / Jffs partition.
As soon as I restored my jffs backup, issue came back so at least I knew were to check...
As strange as it can be, it seams to be that there was an error in the hosts file I was pushing at boot via /jffs/config/hosts.

After recreating it everything went smoothly.
