New Around Here
Good day folks,

I'm Looking at building Large NAS... with some requirements:
  • I need a Desktop Style Case, not a Rackmounted one
  • Redundnant power option would be wonderful, but... I need quiet the system to be fairly quiet.
  • I need something like 12 drive Minimum capacity Hotswap prefered.
  • Willing to look at SAS (2.5") Drives as an option
  • Undecided on the Mobo, but most likely will be Opteron based workstation board (2 CPU), and I plan no less than 8GB Ram
  • I want to run Solaris, off of a CF card (IDE),
  • I plan to use at least 2 SAS Cards that support 8/16 drives.
  • At least 2 Gigabit Ports, maybe 4.
  • minimum 2 Pools, 1 for General Data, 1 for VM Images, for an ESXi Server

What I really need are some Recomendations for the case.
I know Lian-Li makes an amazing "Double Wide" Case, that I'm considering for hosting both the NAS and the ESXi server in One. But I want recs for other cases too.

And this is all for a "Personal" Lab
