After factory reset and 384.6, ext VPN use causes lost samba mount

New Around Here
Hi,

I did a lot of searches before posting this, but must not have typed in the correct search phrase...so sorry if this was covered.

I have been running / upgrading Merlin on a RT-AC68U for several years, no issue.
I was on 384.5 and decided before going to 384.6, i would do a factory reset...just to make sure things were clean (as I never did this originally going from 380.X to 384.X.

Flash went fine and all was well when running things "as is". When I launch IPVanish stand alone app on my Win10 machine, suddenly my samba mounts are not accessable and I can't get to my Router admin pages.
As soon as i disconnect from the program, everything is fine. This always worked before my factory reset, but not after. There are almost "no" settings in the IPVanish client to mess with...and because I can't get to the router admin page, i can't check the logs for any errors when this is happening.

I'm using the external VPN client as this doesn't slow down internet speeds like it does when configuring it w/in Merlin.

What setting controls this/what am i missing?

Thanks,
Rez

Thanks!
I didn't think it was related to an update (as I figured it was all the changes i made in the router).
Sure enough after contacting IPVanish support, they did confirm that the latest version (3.2.5.0) broke this with the DNS Leak Protection, and IPV6 Leak Protection enabled.
The new version of IPVanish (currently in beta) 3.2.8.0 fixes this issue.
