Hello,
I can see on the forum that there is a lot of dislike regarding AiMesh. I really want to use it and it worked fine until a week ago.
If anyone has the time and energy, please read my post and see if you can give me any advice.
Mu initial setup was 2 x RT-AC68U and this worked satisfying for 18 months. I wanted to expand my range in my house and bought 1 RT-AC86U in November 2019
The RT-AC86U became AiMesh router and 1 RT-AC68U as a node. This has worked again satisfying with some restarts needed and other minor problems I can read in the forum from November 2019 until last week.
My network just went haywire, drops all connected devices all the time. The SSID disappears for awhile. This goes on non-stop. Thought that my really old RT-AC68U had it. I decided that it's time to upgrade it to another RT-AC86U.
So now i had 2 x RT-AC86U, but the problem persists non-stop. So I took the new RT-AC86U and paired it with the second RT-AC68U that I hadn't used as I thought it might be something wrong with the RT-AC86U that I bought in November 2019. Same problem, So now I have tried every possible combination of 2 routers and I have the same issues.
Don't understand why it has worked for almost 2 years and now I can't use AiMesh at all. I have upgraded the firmware on all routers to the latest after the issues started and that doesn't help.
Any tips, is it a lost cause with AiMesh?
Will upload my log from the router if anyone want's to have a look.
B0:6E:BF:3B:19: D1 is the MAC address of the node.
At the moment I am using media bridge mode as most of the devices are connected through cable on the node.
