Aimesh or Media bridge mode for AC router to AX main router

My wife PC upstairs uses powerline ethernet adapters to connect internet but it is very slow only about 10 Mbps, I have an old Asus AC68 router and I set it up as Media bridge mode and connect it wireless to the AX main router downstairs and the PC internet speed is much higher. I am wondering should I keep it like this or set up the AC68 as an Aimesh node? Thanks.

Thanks, should I also change the RT-AX55 which only has 386 firmware from Aimesh to Media Bridge as well since my Aimesh main router has 388 firmware, Thanks.
