All Wemo Switches Will Work With Google Home

Belkin announced its Wemo smart home switches will be compatible with Google Home and Google Assistant, giving voice control to their products. Supported Wemo products include Wemo Switch, Wemo Insight Switch and Wemo Light Switch.

Using Google’s natural language processing technology, Wemo customers can use the “OK Google” wake word to power up, or down, appliances attached to Wemo switches.

The necessary Google Home app update is coming soon, while Wemo’s firmware versions 10885 or higher are available now.
