I temporarily tried NordVPN while trying to help debug a problem. At least for me, the performance was pretty bad......about 1/2 of what I normally can obtain. Granted, I didn't do a lot of searching for the 'best' server, but my first impression was not good.Looked at NordVPN?
out of quriosity have you cleared the browser cache, also try leaving it powered off for the night, but if theres not issue in edge then dont worry.
Check the MTU and MRU setting on the WAN page. PPPoE is usually 1492 as there is 8 bytes used for the header. Some errors after updating to alpha 3. Works OK and hopefully nothing serious.

do you kow the mtu for ipoe, i have ipoe on my vdsl2 isp, not sure if 1500 is correct. Also any mtu value below 1500 causes the internet not to reconnect, i had the same issue with only the mru if i set it below 1492 under pppoeCheck the MTU and MRU setting on the WAN page. ok. thank you for reply RMerlin. You wait for a fix?
This is alpha software...
I would check with your internet provider. I have seen mine install fiber at several sites I support with some MTU set at 1492 and others at 1500. I never have followed up as to why. But they both work.do you kow the mtu for ipoe, i have ipoe on my vdsl2 isp, not sure if 1500 is correct. Four attempts so far. Apparently, no chance to upgrade to Alpha 3 (RT-AC87U).
And: "Please restart the router manually" ???
