Any ideas about receiving 2.5gb LAN on my PC

Hello Team,
First of all thanks to anyone trying to help me with this matter.
Let me expose my problem.
At this time I am with BELL Canada having a Bandwidtch of 1.5gbs.
I do not use the the standard Router for my network but a secondary one which is the Asus AX11000, while BELLs router only comes with one 10gbps port and 4x gigabit ports.
and my actual Asus has only one port 2.5gbps and 4x gigabits and it's the main router to connect all my devices.
My problem is that since I use the only port 2.5gbps to get internet in my AX90 router, I do not have any other port to get 1.5gbps to my computer which makes me only reaching 1gbps with standard ports.
as in information the main BELL router doesn't have the LACP so I couldn't make the link aggregation to the main router.
is there any way to force the link aggregation ?
or is there any other way you can think of the have my full bandwidth to my computer ? I would love not having to spend much I already purchased the AX11000 just yesterday and found out it wasn't working for me at the end..

You made a mistake. This is a Nov 2018 model router, >6 years old now after the release. Older hardware locked on 3004 firmware.

You need a router with at least two multigig ports - one to connect with the modem, and another to connect with your LAN. And you also need a modem with multigig LAN ports.

Link aggregation wouldn't help you, as it requires multiple clients connected at the same time, a single client would always be limited to 1 Gbps. It would also require a modem that supports it.

It's called Giga Hub 4000. it only has one 10G LAN

I didn't find any other affordable model for Asus that has multiple 2.5gb ports and than 300$. this one only costed me 100$

Asus RT-AX88U Pro is a popular model with 2x 2.5GbE ports. GT-AX6000 is similar Gaming version. GL.iNet GL-MT6000 as alternative also has 2x 2.5GbE ports, currently around CAD210. Holidays are coming, there will be discounts. Old second-hand router wasn't the best idea. You need additional 2.5GbE switch if more LAN ports are needed. Chasing the ISP speed will cost you >CAD300 guaranteed.

Thanks for the suggestions. the GT-AX6000 is on sale on bestbuy and is at 220 CAD. might be a good option to buy it before the sale ends

What's the big difference between Gigabit and 1.5Gbps for you? The user experience is the same. Don't invest in speed tests just because you've got faster ISP line for cheap. The return of investment is minimal to non-existent.

That's also a good suggestion. I won't feel the difference, I just wanted to know if there was a cheap way to get all the bandwidth to my PC but like you said. if it's gonna cost a lot, it's not worth it

you won't notice the difference. You would be throwing money into the wind.

And your PC and other devices need ethernet or wireless adapters that can handle the full bandwidth. Unless you are standing in the same room with the wireless AP, doubtful your device will get close.

If this GT-AX11000 works properly and it was CAD100 only - just use it. When it reaches End-of-Life get something newer with the ports you need.
