Any router with VPN Split Tunneling for Website Unblocking (Selective VPN)?

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to get some help configuring VPN split tunneling on ASUS ExpertWiFi EBG15 router. I live in a region where certain websites are unfortunately blocked by internet censorship, and I'd like to use a VPN to access them.

My goal is to set up EBG15 (or any other router that supports it) so that only traffic to specific blocked websites is routed through my VPN (Surfshark, in my case), while all other internet traffic goes through my regular ISP connection. Essentially, I want a selective VPN or "whitelist" approach to split tunneling.

I'm interested in confirming if the EBG15 definitely supports this type of website-specific VPN split tunneling. If it does, I have a few specific questions:

1. Can the ASUS ExpertWiFi EBG15 route traffic based on destination hostnames (like www.blocked-website.com) or IP addresses for VPN split tunneling?
2. Is it possible to set up a "whitelist" or selective VPN mode where only the websites I specify are routed through the VPN, and everything else uses my regular ISP? (Or is it only possible to do the inverse - route everything through VPN except specified sites?)
3. If this is possible, could anyone share a basic example configuration or point me towards a guide on how to set this up on the EBG15? Any screenshots or step-by-step instructions would be incredibly helpful!

I want to avoid routing all my traffic through the VPN as it can slow down general Browse and streaming for sites that are already accessible without issue.
