Just bought a ASUS 87. working fine except for a win 7 PC which loses connection @5 Ghz, 2.4 is rock solid. While troubleshooting, on the windows PC, in the wirlesss connection setting, enabled the Intel connection setting and selected the 5G adn hard coded the mac address of the 5Ghz., has been stable for the last couple of hours, but will give it a couple of days.
Question:
On the router i see two MAC , for the 5 and 2.5 Ghz. On the PC when i connect to 5G should i see the 5gh MAC and vice versa for 2.4G ?
On the win 7 pc, i see one MAC address irrespective of whether i connect to 2,4/5
