ASUS 88U Merlin 380.58 Can't see wireless networks other than my own

Prost

New Around Here
Hello,

Just installed a new 88U with Merlins 380.58 firmware. I am also using an Asus PCE-AC68 card for wireless. Everything installed without a hitch.

I do have the noob question of the day though. Since I am new to the Asus firmware perhaps I am simply overlooking it.

When I had a previous TP-LINK wireless adapter installed with my old Router, I was able to see wireless networks SSID's broadcasting from places around me. Since I have installed the new equipment I ONLY see my 2.4 and 5Ghz SSID's in my available connections list. No other changes have been made other than installing and configuring the new equipment.

Just curious how I can see ALL wireless networks broadcasting their SSID's around me? Thanks!

P.S. Merlin thanks so much for the rock solid firmware

Your router can't "magically" make other nearby routers disappear, therefore it must be something to do with your client adapter/driver/OS.

As the client adapter doesn't run Merlins software it's probably worth asking your question again in the ASUS Wireless forum rather than this Merlin specific one.
