I'm wondering if there is a way to hard set the 5 GHZ bands to specific channels with the smart connect feature on?! Since the firmware update smart connect works very well, EXCEPT it doesn't change off of some channels that spike with interference every 10 secconds or so, I'd like to move them to clear channels...I don't see the router moving off those channels ever?! I just really love for example, that it puts my new Chromebook Pixel on the 2nd 5ghz band mostly for the streaming it notices, and keeps that clear of other components!
Soooooo, is there a way to set channels with Smart Connect on? If not, how do all my components connect/choose if I just turn smart connect off, are they now hard locked on whatever connection they are on currently?! My ssid is the same for all three, as is the password. How would standard components auto choose between both 5 lines? Sorry, tri band rookie here, and just trying to tweak this sucker the best way possible...Love it so far!
