ASUS AC68U hardware revision C1

I've been hearing that a new hardware revision is on it's way but also read on the web that Merlin firmware is not compatible with the C1. Is this accurate? if so, will Merlin develop a firmware that will be compatible w/C1?

Asuswrt-Merlin has been compatible with C1 revision since before it even appeared on store shelves - Asus sent me a development sample back last December. Any 380.xx version will work.

Thanks, in your opinion, is it worth to wait and try to get the C1, currently have the B1? value your thoughts as a subject matter expert w/ASUS.

You won't see any real difference between B1 and C1.
