I have been running the AC88U on Merlin firmware since i bought the router a year ago and its been great, regular updates and improvements, as well as this active group was a big factor in my purchase.
However, i went to use Airplay from iPhone to my ATV4 just now and the transmission is very choppy. I have tried it on my MacBook and it is a bit better but still choppy. The ATV4 is hardwired to the router, and all the devices i have tried have been on the 5G wireless. I have used this feature quite often in the past and it has never done this before. All devices have been rebooted and the problem is still there.
i am running the latest firmware, so could this be a bug ??? the last firmware had a bug that blocked my lighwaverf home hub from talking to its servers, so am open to the possibility that this could be a bug causing this also.
Any feedback or suggestions would be most appreciated.
