Asus' app (Asus Router, Discovery)

I have the RT-AX88U Asus router as my main router and use its
AiMesh feature with 4 other Asus (legacy) router that support
AiMesh as nodes (namely RT-AC88U, RT-AC86U, RT-AC66U B1 & RT-AC68R).

I was using Asus stock firmware in all of them and decided to use
Merlin firmware in all them again for some reason.

I was wondering if there an app for the android phone or devices
like Asus Router or Asus Router Discovery that work when the
Merlin firmware is applied? I ran the apps on my android devices
but it could not find any Asus routers since I switched the firmware.

So are the apps for Asus compatible with running Merlin firmware
within the Asus routers? Am I doing something wrong or is
there a compatible app through Merlin and Asus before I may
consider switching back to Asus stock firmwares.

The Asus app for iOS and Android works with either Merlin or Asus firmware. With the Android app you may need to clear the cache and settings and log in again. I have switched between Asus and Merlin many times and the app connects without a problem with no changes to the app settings.

Oh, I am sorry, I do not use iPhone. I have Samsung, LG android phones? any hope for those? If not, I will just go back to stock firmware.

Oh sorry, I guess it is compatible with Android...I will try uninstalling and reinstalling the app to see if things work.
