ASUS BE88u VLAN TAG requieres 10gbe port

New Around Here
Hello, I just upgraded my equipment with this router, which replaces an AC87U, I've changed switches, etc. The question is this: my internet provider requires the VLAN tag to be 10. There's no problem; you go to LAN, go to TV, and set manual values. But this forces you to use the 10GB WAN port. It won't let me assign the VLAN value even though I have the 2.5GB port selected, which is the one I want to use, since I use the 10GB port to connect to the switch. Do you know if this can be done any other way? Or do I have to wait for an update that allows this? It just doesn't make sense to disable the 10GB port for an internet connection and force me to use this port. Best regards and thanks.

Which firmware are you using? In the merlin firmware you set the VLAN on the WAN page, regardless of the port used.

Im ussing Merlin

According to my tests, I've tested it with two different carriers and it only connects if you select "Internet" in LAN-IPTV and configure the VLAN in that tab. When I select it in "WAN," I can't connect.
My plan is to remove the carrier's router I currently have in bridge mode via the 2.5GbE port and install an ONT.
The ONT works fine if I connect it to the 10Gb port and configure the VLAN in LAN-IPTV, as indicated in the manuals on the Asus website.
