Only appears to be available through app and/or Web GUI (ASUSwrt). (I only checked and updated through the Android ASUS Router app)

Bug Fixes and Enhancements:
1. Strengthened input validation and data processing workflows to further protect information security.
2. Enhanced AiCloud password protection mechanisms, safeguarding against unauthorized access attempts.
3. Enhanced device security through improved buffer handling in connection features.
4. Refined data handling processes, ensuring secure and accurate information management.
5. Enhanced file access control mechanisms, promoting a more secure operating environment.
6. Strengthened certificate protection, providing enhanced data security.

Mine is currently a node to a GT-BE98 Pro (in Access Point mode with AiMesh). Not much to say so far...

Lucky BQ16 Pro users ;) I'm still waiting for BQ16 firmware update..

Thanks as always for sharing with the community :)

Is the BQ16 Pro (as single/main unit) too unstable to use as the main router ?

I'm hoping to get a 1 pack to use as the main unit, with a AX58u as AImesh satellite.

This is to take advantage of the 6 GHz band with my laptops, when connected with the BQ16 Pro directly...

My bq16 pro doesnt seem to want to update via in-app although it says there is new firmware available. Nice

edit: looks like firmware was pulled for now

Firmware is now posted on Asus Canada website.

Please unzip the firmware file, and then verify the checksum.

I compared both BE98 Pro and BQ16 Pro, (I'll just leave out "Pro" if you don't mind), as main Access Point and there are more features/options with the BE98 as primary. (I guess the adage "you get what you pay for" applies. That said the main feature that I tried was the pinging game server latency thing that I have zero use for. I'm also more used to the layout of the ASUSwrt pages on the GT line as I never had a ZenWiFi before.

One thing that I do prefer/needed working was access to my USB HDD which I have connected to the BE98. With BQ16 as primary, and BE98 as node, including the fact that I enable Guest Login on Samba, I was no longer able to access the HDD with BE98 as node after one of the firmware updates. Since my BQ16 is Velcro'd high up on a windowsill I do not wish to add an unsightly HDD up there also.

I still haven't completely/determined resolved a possible UPS noise issue which seems to severely affect WiFi, whether due to proximity to a router, noise from simulated sine wave, or both. I have purchased a couple of DC UPS units at the kind recommendation of a member here but haven't finished installing/testing...

It actually took a couple of tries on the Android app, at least two if not three. (It was 3:45 am local time and I'm not too coherent at that time, sometimes)...

EDIT- It's on the US site, at least now it is...
