I need to enable the Dual WAN on an ASUS DSL-AC68U and i need both WAN to be ethernet, but when i try to set primary to "Ehternet", the fallback WAN automatically switches to DSL or USB.
If i change the fallback WAN to Ethernet, then the primary switches to DSL or USB.
Gnuton firmware seems to act exactly as standard firmware.
Is there any workaround to achieve this?

Not possible on this model.

Dual WAN is not reliable on Asus routers.

It's a dsl router. Whatever setting you make the modem will always be involved.

I hoped I could set LAN1 as primary (as it is now) and LAN2 (or 3, or 4) as fallback.

This is not possible even on Asus routers with Ethernet WAN port available.

Yeah, you're right, i just noticed it on another router with a WAN port. So it's basically a limitation of all ASUS routers.

Asus is not the right router for multi-WAN to begin with. This feature is broken in Asuswrt.
