Even after disabling AI Mesh and deleting my nodes, then doing a factory reset, I can't upgrade firmware. I'm stuck on 3.0.0.6.102_34791 (via "check for updates" and upgrading that way, or downloading file from Asus support web site, unzipping, verify checksum, and uploading file from PC)

Any suggestions on how to upgrade to this?

U can try to do a hard factory reset, if that still doesnt work then i think your Router is bad.

Unfortuantely warranty ended June 2024. Unless the credit card I used has any extra protection on it, I guess I'm out of luck.

Interesting as the ASUS US store shows 3-year warranty.

I know. They say 3 years warranty and send you to a local retailer place to purchase it where the warranty may be reduces to 2 years without you noticing. My RT-AX86U was purchased from Canada Computers and the warranty expired after 2 years according to Asus by S/N of the device.

@Tech9 I thought you were joking about this, so I checked the Asus Website for the expiry of my warranty, and it's several months short of three years. Which is pretty bizarre as I've had it since about a week after launch!

Different warranty conditions for your place.

Product manufactured in 2022 and sold in Canada. Funny the warranty on this one expired 3 days after the last firmware update was released.

Purchased July 28, 2022, from Amazon USA. I put the serial number into the Asus web site and it says
