Asus Merlin N66U with 3G Huawei E3131H-2

Hello. I sold my flat and bought a house without optic fiber so I tried to add a 3G Huawei E3131H-2 to my N66U router with Merlin`s firmware 378.55 to have internet in my house but is not recognised. Beeing addicted to internet I had to install tomato firmware and is working but I miss Merlin`s features. How come the usb stick is not working with merlin? I`m doing something wrong? Thank you.

Tried fork version too. It seems that is Asus fault and their drivers not mine.

Which fork did you try? You might want to PM hggomes and try his fork of the RMerlin firmware too (he updates many packages on the router and this may help?).

Merlin fork 374.43_2-13E1j9527 from 14-July-2015 for N66U. But neither fork or merlin can`t work with E3131H-2. I see no device even if is conected.
