Seeing this on my newly setup RT-AC3100. I've turned the QOS stuff on and off a few times while trying to figure out what it has to offer. I noticed these messages in my log.

kernel: ERR[set_app_info_qos_meta:3361] It's a paid app, please assign a default bandwidth!

Do these have any meaning or are they just noise.

So far I'm pretty underwhelmed with ASUS WRT due to the large number of minor issues I'm coming across. The ASUS quality teams are not really doing their job. It makes me wonder what major things are broken under the hood with the real features.
Stuff like...
- spelling errors on the ASUS web pages,
- inability to sort/unsorted Web history
- mysterious log messages,
- bad classification of anything encrypted - including standard VPN tunnels - in QoS
- not applying configured hostnames to statically assigned MAC addresses - some work, some don't
- incomplete DDNS
- no history of application usage for local hosts - only instantaneous
- no export of flow/N-tuples ... geez tomato has had this forever.
... the list goes on...

Try the 382.1_1 test build, it fixes an issue related to Trend Micro signatures.

I've moved to the 382.1_2 test build and I'm still seeing the log error issue:

Got rid of these messages by enabling QoS, setting upload and download Bandwidth to 20/200 -> Apply -> disable QoS -> Apply

I found out that it is my WD TV LIVE which is causing these messages. As soon as I start netflix on it, these messages start to appear on my log.

I also get kernel: ERR[update_qos_data_by_ip:3436] Failed to find udb entry by skb dst-IP! at the same time.
