Asus N56U vs AC66U

Hi all,

a couple of weeks ago I got an AC66U to replace my N56U. However I'm experiencing worse wifi coverage with the AC66U than I did on the N56U.

Doesn't seem to matter whether I'm running stock or some other firmware.

Any thoughts?

I'm guessing you've tried 41 Merlin's firmware and did a full reset?

Merlins custom firmware. Full reset = factory reset

Not that much actually, but good job being a douche.

Anyways, I flashed with the latest Merlin and did a factory reset afterwards, but same signal problems.

Try other firmwares. If all fails, replace the router.
