Hello,

Currently i have xfinity router which is in bridged mode and connected to 3 Eero Pro 7 routers ( Mesh mode). I would like to connect one client in my house to openvpn client as i need different ip to that system.
can i purchase asus router and connect it to eero pro 7 and then have the asus router configured with openvpn client and connect the system to the asus router. will this setup work and can someone help me in setting up this setup please

If you continue providing different and partial information about your needs in different threads you'll most likely end up spending money on equipment you don't need. I believe this is your 3rd VPN related thread. People trying to help you won't be aware of all bits and pieces of information scattered around and you'll most likely receive different and/or repetitive answers.

my requirement is that i need to connect 2 systems and 1 phone to different ipaddress. my plan is to have openvpn client installed on the router and connect the end systems to it.
currently i have xfinity router ( in bridged mode) and then its connected to 3 X eero max 7 routers in mesh mode. since Eero doesnt have openvpn client configuration, i planned to take 2nd internet and buy an asus router and then use the openvpn client on the asus router

the reason why i opened this thread is, rather then having 2 different isps, can i just have 1 isp connected to eero pro max 7, then connect asus router and configure the openvpn client on asus router ?. will this setup works ?

PS: i want to use eero pro 7 as main router and connect all clients to it. i want to connect only 3 devices to asus router and have openvpn configuration in it

I am sorry if i confused you

But you said in your first post:

Your posts are getting increasingly confusing. Is it one device or three?

will this setup works ?

Yes, but this is not equal to 2x different ISPs. Your VPN connected devices will use the same ISP with tunnel to another with different exit point to Internet. Depending on the use case this may or may not work. Commercial VPN servers are well known and you may get blocked for specific services. Without knowing the specific use case it's hard to recommend a solution.
