ASUS RT-56U and VPN

Crashed

Occasional Visitor
Hi everyone,

I'm curious and wondering if my Asus RT-56u is decent enough to make it work with a computer to setup a VPN. I just want to be able to access data and basic web based clients on my home pc when I'm out and about away from home.

Any have a basic guide in doing this, or any helpful info regarding my router in particular? I've been looking around but not finding to much out there.

I've already setup the "virtual web server" option in my router settings, but I know I'll need maybe some other ways to configure it to be seen in the "outside" world.

Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.
