ASUS RT-AC66R Network Printing Issue

Hello all, I'm new here so if I break the rules here on my first post just set me straight. I have replaced my RT-N16 running Tomato with this router running Merlin 3.0.0.4.376.49_5. On my old router I had a Brother HL-2140 connected to the usb port and used this as a network printer with a TCIP port. I am not able to do this with this printer even after following the directions for LPR printing. It always wants to default to USB virtual port.

Does anyone know how to overcome this so that it will operate like before? Could this be something that works with Tomato but not ASUSWRT?
