I have the above router and after a day or two the speed drops from 320Mbps to 120ish. I have updated the router to the latest firmware from Asus with the same results. I upgrade to the latest Merlin as well and issue persists. However, I did not do a hard reset after the upgrade to Merlin. Could this be my issue? Can I reset from the GUI or should I do a 30/30/30 on it?
I see others state that going to .274 fixed the issue, but I cannot find where to download that version from Asus.
If so, would saving my current configuration and uploading after a reset cause my symptoms to return?
All tests run via speedtest.net and hardwired from three different machines with three different OS's.
All assistance appreciated.
Edit 4/12 - Went ahead and reset to factory defaults and then did a 30/30/30 on it. Issue still persists. Makes me think I have a setting incorrect. Through another router I had around in there and it has worked flawlessly for about 12 hours. Going to give it another day but appears that the issue resides on the ASUS side and not the firmware. Opening a ticket now.
