Asus RT-AC68U and HP Photosmart 6520 Connection Drop

New Around Here
Hello I am having trouble keeping the wireless connection of my printer. If my PC is on the printer just continues to reboot and reboot trying to connect...but the minute I turn off the PC, it connects and stays connected. The minute I turn the PC back on...reboot loop trying to connect. I have tried the PC connected via Ethernet cable (and WIFI adapter turned off) and I have tried with WIFI adapter on and connected to the network via WIFI(2.4ghz and 5ghz). Wireless Direct function is turned off also.

Network Info:
Router - Asus RT-AC68U restored to factory default
PC - Acer Aspire V3-772G-7660 (Acer Nplify 802.11a/b/g/n + BT4.0)
Printer - HP Photosmart 6520
PC is the only wired connection...wireless connections consist of various iPod, iPad, iPhone, LG TV, and Xbox devices.

I have tried connecting via the 2.4ghz SSID and password I have created and also via WPS push button...but no luck.

When my PC is connected to the network it is connected via .175 and when I shut it off and the printer connects it is connected via .145.

any advice would be appreciated.

thank you for the reply...I went to the router menu and set the static IP address for the MAC address of the printer to .222 then changed the DHCP pool to be from .2 to .202. Then saved and re-booted the router. But the printer still would not connect wirelessly. I then shut the PC off and the printer instantly connected. I then went to the onscreen menu of the printer and confirmed it was connected with .222 IP address and it was. I then turned on the PC and as soon as I logged into windows (8.1) the printer disconnected. Still same problem as above.

Is the PC still plugged into the printer using the USB cable? What IP is the PC getting?

No, there is no USB cable being used for the Printer to the PC. The PC is pulling from the DHCP pool(.2 to .202)....so currently the PC is .75 and again the printer is outside of the pool (.222)
