I just notice this tool on the Asus Support site, it clearly states "WARNING!!!
Using this tool only after firmware upgraded to 3.0.0.4.374.339" so I was wondering if its safe to use when running Asus Merlin 374.43 or not?

It's safe. 374.43 is based on a much newer version, 374_339 was simply the minimum required version.
