ASUS RT-AC68U IP-TV Problems. Freezes from time to time.

Hi. I'm going to try to explain the problem I have with my IP TV. I've connected my Router directly to the ip tv and it has worked fine for a long time. But now since October a been experiencing both frames and sound freezes for a few seconds at a time and suddenly everything is back to normal for a while and then 1-5 minutes later it happens again? I can't figure out why.. I have tried update to the latest firmware and nothing changed. When I unplug the router and plug in the IP TV directly to the wall-socket it works fine. no LAG.


Right now im using Firmware Version:3.0.0.4.378_9313


The settings im useing at the monent is

Select ISP Profile ---------------------------------------------->None
Choose IPTV STB Port ---------------------->Lan3 & Lan4 (I move the box to the bed room sometimes)

Special Applications

Use DHCP routes ----------------------------------------------> Microsoft
Enable multicast routing (IGMP Proxy) --------------------->Enable
Enable efficient multicast forwarding (IGMP Snooping)--->Enable
UDP Proxy (Udpxy)--------------------------------------------->0

Try using Merlin firmware.
So far I have not had any IPTV problems with it, despite the fact that IPTV code should be exactly same.

i have the same problem but i didn`t asked because i know i don`t get answers....i tested with original firmware and merlin firmware...it is the same on both....
