The DUAL WAN on the RT-AC86U with the latest Firmware Version 3.0.0.4.382 a well as on the Merlin firmware is completely unstable when adding a "ping to internet" for instance www.google.com.
De WAN is working and shows UP (static IP to my cable router) but there is no internet traffic possible for all devices behind the RT-AC86U.
WAN settings are Failover+Fallback.
When not enabling the ping to internet it seams to be fine with the port status, but it won't track if my WAN link is really down as I have 2 other routers behind the Asus facing the WAN
For me this makes this router total useless with dual wan
On my old RT-AC68 it was working with Asus ans Merlin.
Anybody have some suggestions of having the same problems wit this router?

When trying to reboot this is blocked due to above. Only can take out power cable to get WAN back to forwarding packets.
