New Around Here
Guys may I kindly ask your help.
my ASUS RT-AC87U bricked. I bought it 1,5 year ago when I stayed in Poland and I think it will be a problem for warranty.

The problem:
4 LEDs lighting (no reaction on any buttons)

before this I found that my internet become slowly, I reloaded the router from a webinterface, that's all. after that I found the picture above. I used only original FW, current FW worked about 3-4 months, sometime I was restarting the router (it was help full for recover the speed of the connection).

currently I can't put the router in the recovery mode.
What I tried:
1.30-30-30sec method
2.press RESET/wps wait 5-100sec and switch on
3.press all other buttons similar to point 2
4. I changed a power supply and measure the DC current = 0,19 A (when I pressed WIFI button = 0,2 A) and no any reaction when I press any other buttons
5. I downloaded asus recovery utility - but it useless due to it doesn't see the router via LAN cabel
I spent for points 1,2,3 -at least an hour< I tried different combination of time and buttons.
I put router for 5-10 hours without a power and tried again.
6. I opened a ticket at the ASUS support page - but no any answer have received yet
what do you recommend?
thank you

here is is the good way:
If your router fails to boot due to corrupted/invalid nvram settings, then you will have to turn off the router, press the WPS button (on Asus routers), then turn on the router. Wait about 10 seconds, then release the WPS button and wait 3 min.Enter Gui and reconfig

Tried ipconfig command with some siwtches? such as /release, /renew , /all. Able to ping the router any way? Does power light come on? If so is it blinking? What color?

thank you
today I managed to put the router in a recovery mode.
I think the main problem was - time
I put ASUS without power for 12 hours and after that I received recovery mode just after 5 sec of holding reset.
after that I connected to the router and installed new FW.
It was interesting - all my settings (ip, passwords were kept unchanged even after so many reset).
but anyway I installed factory settings and manually configured to my network.

But I found other bad thing LAN4 doesn't work. is it possible to check may be it software reasons for LAN4 off?
I remember that before this situation LAN4 was connected to CAT7 lan cabel with metallic shield.
may be this shield conduct electromagnetic impulse to LAN4

LAN4? Or LAN1? Make sure your 5GHZ radio works also.

LAN4 for sure.
5 GHz works
I suppose we talk about LAN port number 1.
The CAT7 shielding should have no bad effect, unless there is by fault a high voltage on it.
Oh and caress your router a bit, instead of leaving it on the floor ;)

there is LAN4 at least digit "4" printed near bad socket.
about floor - it is just a picture. The router is located near UPS, NAS... at special place

I assume you have tried the same cable in another LAN port.
If that works well, it is quite sure the router has a hardware defect causing LAN port 4 to not work.
You may check and see if the spring pins inside the yellow LAN 4 port are not misalligned.

pins are alligned and I tried with same cable.
I read that recovery mode might not work in LAN1, I've chosen LAN 3 for recovery
when I recovered the router I tried all LAN sockets with same cable and found that LAN4 doesn't work.
