RT-AC87R or RT-AC87U?, I have instaled in RT-AC87U (Operation Mode:Wireless router Firmware Version:3.0.0.4.382_52230 ) at 1 day and 4 hours. So far so good.

Thanks. RT-AC87U is the same RT-AC87R.
Because this:
Support router certificate export. After import the certificate to the computer you will not see the warning message when login with https.Please refer to https://www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1034294/

Did you have to install the certificate? Everything fine?

I read the FAQ and a lot of instruction for little, I believe. Will it only be for access to the router, or will it interfere with browsing other pages?

I supose that it is only for accessing the web page config of the router by https.

I stil use like this: http://192.168.2.1/Main_Login.asp Chrome says that connection is insecure (not https).

Every thing work's fine very stableuntil now.
