Can anyone help me?
I currently have an ASUS RT-AC87U running Merlin's 380.62_1
I am looking to make port 1 or port 4 on the LAN VLAN 300 as it will be going into a managed switch.
From the forums I found robocfg commands and nvram settings. I first attempted the robocfg commands but they don't ever reflect in the GUI and wash out after a power cycle. Not sure what I could be doing wrong there. Here is what I typed for the robocfg commands:
"robocfg switch enable port 4 state enabled stp none tag 300 jumbo on vlan 300 ports "4t 8t"
Then to check and see if it took:
admin@test:/tmp/home/root# robocfg show
Switch: enabled
Port 0: 1000FD enabled stp: none vlan: 2 jumbo: on mac: 08:62:66:8e:50:10
Port 1: DOWN enabled stp: none vlan: 1 jumbo: on mac: 00:00:00:00:00:00
Port 2: DOWN enabled stp: none vlan: 1 jumbo: on mac: 00:00:00:00:00:00
Port 3: 1000FD enabled stp: none vlan: 1 jumbo: on mac: e0:69:95:e5:48:ed
Port 4: DOWN enabled stp: none vlan: 300 jumbo: on mac: 00:00:00:00:00:00
Port 8: DOWN enabled stp: none vlan: 1 jumbo: on mac: 00:00:00:00:00:00
VLANs: BCM5301x enabled mac_check mac_hash
1: vlan1: 1 2 3 5 7t
2: vlan2: 0 7
300: vlan300: 4t 8t
1045: vlan1045: 2 4 5 7 8u
1046: vlan1046: 1t 4 5
1047: vlan1047: 0t 5t
1099: vlan1099: 0t 3 4t 5t 7t 8u
1100: vlan1100: 4t
1101: vlan1101: 0 1 5t
1102: vlan1102: 1 4t 5 7t 8u
1103: vlan1103: 0 1 4 5 7t 8t
admin@Curtis:/tmp/home/root#
However, in the GUI, the ports under tools-->sysinfo it reads that vlan 300 doesn't exisit:
Ethernet Ports
Port VLAN Link State Last Device Seen
WAN 2 1000 Full Duplex 20:B5:C6:05:03:BC
LAN 4 1 Down <none>
LAN 3 1 Down <none>
LAN 2 1 1000 Full Duplex E0:69:95:E5:48:ED
LAN 1 1 Down <unknown>
So it appears it didn't take the command?
Please help if you can! Andrew
