Ability to block internet to VLAN devices still not added.
Have you tried using the Asus Router mobile app to block the VLAN client device's internet access?

One observation pertaining to this round of firmware update...

I uploaded my AX86U Pro node first yesterday and its wireless Wyze cams on node VLAN continued working until...

I uploaded my AX88U Pro router today and those node Wyze cams went offline. Node LAN clients were not affected. To recover wireless connectivity at the node, I removed/reset and re-added the node (remember to revisit settings for node LED, Backhaul Connection Priority, USB Application media servers, and Network Place Share; and AiMesh Mode for existing SDN VLANs).

I did not perform any other re-configuration and intend to wait on that until the next firmware is released, hopefully with massive change to the SDN VLAN implementation.

My main 2.4 WLAN is still leaking the WPS protocol at the node.

There you have it... an innocent looking ASUSWRT update breaks AiMesh node wireless connectivity. This is no way to run a network, ASUS. It probably would have taken me less time and would have been more certain to have just re-commissioned my network from scratch.

Unzipped file. Verify SHA-256 checksum. Got SHA 096695ecbef259e2036e238944abde55f61c3a761af37b968d58af53a824c90b => MISMATCH
Downloaded again. Unzipped file again. Verify SHA-256 checksum. Got SHA 096695ecbef259e2036e238944abde55f61c3a761af37b968d58af53a824c90b => MISMATCH

Abandon Firmware update until this situation is corrected.

The checksum is for the ZIP file.

The checksum is for the ZIP file.
That’s goofy in that previous releases from Asus specifically say to unzip first. This release doesn’t say it explicitly, but yes, they did switch it up this time.

When one fails, you have to check the other... and don't ask why! :)

Is there a delay between when new firmware is available for download on the Asus site and when the router will detect it?

When I check for new firmware, the router tells me my “AI Mesh system is up to date” but I’m using older version 102_3340.

They are typically not in sync.

Your issue may not be the AX88U Pro firmware. I will write some comments in the AX86U Pro release about my similar issues.

It finally works as designed.

Glad to hear there is improvement. I remember you had some issues with your 3x RT-AX88U Pro. Still the same devices?

Took one of them out and now just 2 of the same AX88U Pro. I learned the lesson that less is more sometimes. One unit is on the 2nd floor, and one is in the finished basement. Devices on the main floor use whichever they’re getting a better signal from, as they’re each on a different end of the house.

Getting good performance. This is on my iPhone 16 Pro.

Best I can recall, a dirty update puts the TrendMicro Withdraw option back into the Administration\Policy tab even though I am still not using any TM features(?)
