Thanks for posting this, this. I just updated the router and everything seems to be as it should.
Update, been using the new firmware the rest of yesterday, and overnight, and everything is solid as of this morning. So, giving a bit more of an update after using things for more than a few minutes.

I think you'll really enjoy this router. Mine has been rock solid, and each firmware update has improved on that. The main sets of issues I've seen here from people reporting issues have been the following:

1. They either got a defective unit
2. Used features that have been known to be long standing unreliable with AsusWRT as a whole
3. Just early bugs Asus has been patching, or has patched in each update.

Still going on this update without issues.
 
Has anyone found the "Added support for the v6Option WAN type" Do not see a WAN setting for this. How does this function work?

I suspect this is referring to v6Plus used by some Japanese ISPs. So you'd probably need a Japanese router to see that option.
