Asus RT-N56U printer support?

New Around Here
So I have had my N56U for a few days now and am happy with it so far with one exception. One of the features that made me decide on the Asus was being able to attach a printer and share it on the network. I have an HP LJ 1020 connected to it and while it will print it takes 3 minutes from the time I hit print until it finally decides to print the document. Is this normal?
