Hello,

Asus RT-N600 Asus Firmware, looking to upgrade to AsusWRT Merlin, can somebody advise me for which firmware I should use?

Thanks..

Don

Can anyone give a little review of how the RT-N600 handles on Padavan? I'm mostly happy with the stock firmware (beta updates), though from time to time the box seems to get overwhelmed by multiple connections.

Was thinking of pulling the trigger and going with 3rd party firmware. Seeing as how this is the only option, is it worth exploring? What are the benefits over stock? I couldn't find much information online at all (RT-N600 seems to be a bit of a black horse!) Any comments or impressions are appreciated -- thanks in advance!

I took the plunge awhile back and have been enjoying Padavan on my RT-N600. it seems rather stable.

One concern I have, though, is how to get the latest firmware w/ security/stability fixes, etc.

https://github.com/russinnes/RT-N600-Padavan indicates a date of ~5 months ago. Is that considered the latest? If not, where can I get it?
