ASUS RT87U Stuck in Recovery

Hi All,

My router is stuck in recovery mode after attempting to update to 2769

I was able to set a static IP and reflash the firmware using the ASUS firware restoration tool but after flashing the router is still in recover mode. I tried all 3 of the below firmwares but after each flash the router simple goes
back into recover mode.

ASUS RT-AC87U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.376.2769
ASUS RT-AC87U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.376.2678
ASUS RT-AC87U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.376.2061

I can access the router by going to 192.168.1.1 and I see the "ASUSTek - CFE miniWeb Server" page. I have tried reseting the NVRAM to default and using the reset button at the back of the router.

Nothing seems to work, has anyone seen this issue before?

Did you try to run the rescue utility? Worked for me.

For anyone that comes back to this, contacted ASUS supported who ended up instructing me to RMA the device.
