I have a Netgear nighthawk R7000 that I am going to return and was thinking about getting the Asus RTAC68W wireless router because I have been told that it has built in openvpn server and client with advanced features set-up where the R7000 has no built in client. Does the Asus RTAC68W wireless router have the current full version of openvpn server and client on the router and not try to for e you to use ppt, upset, just openvpn if you want.
Which of the two Asus routers are the best. The 68 w or the 68 u.if range is an issue I will get a couple of the largest antennas to help out in a 3000 square foot
home single level. I feel the Asus is the more mature router and has the openvpn
Server and client I want for my vpn. Please suggest ideas on what is the best option. DD-WRT is almost there for the R7000, but the DD-WRT interface is more for the advanced user in my opinion and I don't fit that category.the Asus interface is very user friendly. Any advice is welcome.
Thank you
