Asus XT12 Slow Wifi Upload Verizon Fios

Recently ditched the Verizon Fios router and went with the XT12 to have full coverage in my home. Upon doing a Wifi speed test I noticed my downloads were solid but my upload was capped at around 250Mbps. I have a gigabit plan. With Ethernet I get full speeds, but Wifi upload is capped. Does anybody have a workaround to this issue? I tried doing dual Wan and using the 2.5G Lan but that didn’t fix it. Thanks!

If your router settings are good, fw is updated, connecting directly to ont and still getting 250 request isp to change ont gateway box . You probably have an old one that does not like asus for some unknown reason.
