Hello!

I've just flashed Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.374.33 on my RT-N66U and immediately noticed one thing:

When I setup network with SSID containing "@" character, f.e. "Foo@" this network is not visibile for clients.

This worked perfectly well on latest stock firmware (i previously used latest stable ASUS build).

It's not of any big importance, but wanted to report it.

Thanks for all great work Merlin

Does it really works for everyone else?

Can someone help me and test it on their router... it's really weird cause on stock firmware it worked.

works fine here enabled guest 2.4 and 5 ghz and named them n@me_2.4 and n@me_5

If you have the intention to hide your SSID, I think it is a bad idea.
And it doesnt really makes sense, because you wont be really hidden.
Leaving the SSID visable gives your neighbors an easier awareness of the presence of your router.
If the @ would "hide" the SSID, it would be a bug (probably in your network adapter driver) that needs to be fixed.
Anyway is the use of odd characters no good idea, it may cause other issues.
