ASUSWRT-Merlin 378.56_2 killed my wired download speed.

New Around Here
Hello,

I have just restored my RT-AC68U firmware back to ASUSWRT-Merlin 376.48_1 (it's previous firmware version) after updating to 378.56_2 killed my wired network speed bizarrely. The bizarre part is that wireless was unaffected, there was only a speed drop for wired.
I was able to download at full speed on my Nexus 6 wifi, but all machines connected via ethernet cable were getting around 16% regular speed. Similarly, transferring files to NAS USB drive attached to the router was crippled, dropping from the usual speed by a similar factor.

After a process of elimination and all the diagnostic reboots etc I figured the only thing different was my firmware. Restoring it restored my wired speed to its former glory.

I'm really grateful for the work Merlin does Hope the cause of my router's weird behavior is nothing major and easy to fix in future firmwares!
