New Around Here
First, when I using Asus original firmware, I cannot connect to my printer using Standard TCP/IP connection, but "Printer.exe" software do it's job and my printer start working. After upgrading to Merlin, this "Printer.exe" can't find any router that supports printer and my printer no longer works. But now Standard TCP/IP connection works (surprise). Everything seems to be fine except that type of connection is much slower as I see - printer waits several seconds (even 10 or more) before starts printing (with ASUS utility method printer starts immediately). Why Asus printer utility do not see router with Merlin firmware?
UPDATE: I rebooted router and now Printer utility works. Is this mean that this router has problem with printer connection and need to be rebooted to work proper?
UPDATE2: I was one BSOD while testing printing. I discovered (looking at internet) that I am not the only one who has this problem with Asus EZ printer utility. I hope this was just once. I'll wait 2 more days with printer turned off then I'll check if is still working.
UPDATE3: And today (day after) printer stop working again. AiCloud does not work as it should (I cannot make that smart sync work, other options works bad), printserver works bad or not at all, firmware can't be fixed by many years... I'll return this crap to shop and buy some Tp-Link Archer probably. %!@% Asus.
