AsusWRT Merlin for ASUS DSL-N16U

Recently I have bought ASUS DSL-N16U: wifi router on ASUSWRT with 2 input, DSL and Ethernet, and with 2 usb ports.
Unfortunately, optware for this model provide very small list of available packages. Also, I dont google any ASUSWRT-Merlin firmware for this model.
Does anybody know anything about ability to run normal firmware on this router?

I buy dsl-n16u because i check in asus web page this router have asuswrt firmware.

I try to download source code and isn´t avaliable in asus web page.

The seller explain me the bought routers (dsl-n55 and dsl-n16) have same hardware, the only difference is in the wifi chipset (dsl-n55 support 5ghz).

Are you sure dsl-n16u isn`t support asuswrt?
If so, should change it?
