Asuswrt N66U SSTP VPN?

So i have playing around with a vpn for greater net security and anonymity and had my Wan page setup with pptp mppe128. Then i read that pptp is basically cracked wide open and anyone can crack it. So i wanted to switch to l2tp on the Wan settings page and i keep getting a "to many retransmissions error" and fails to connect so i gave up on that. My vpn also supports sstp through specific servers. I popped a sstp server address into the pptp settings in the wan tab. Hit apply and it connects!

My question is with using a sstp server address under the pptp server settings on the wan page am i actually connected sstp vpn? I dont see any errors in the log...

Also on a side note i think my l2tp errors maybe coming from me not providing the needed vpn preshared key. Is there a place to put this in the gui?

Ok is I have answered most of my own questions with a little playing around. My only remaining question is how can I get this router connected via L2TP with a preshared key? If try to connect without I keep getting this to many retransmissions on tunnel error.
