New Around Here
I'm looking for some pointers on choosing a power supply for my new setup:

Supermicro X7SPE-HF-D525 mobo
2x 2gb DDR3 SO-DIMMS
2-4x WD Green 2TB SATA hdds (2 for now, but I'm looking increase by the summer)
2x 120mm case fans
OS: FreeBSD on USB stick

I've guestimated power consumption with the calculator @ http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp and it's putting me around 100 watts. Does this seem realistic?

I'd like to keep my draw as low as possible, so I've been researching the picoPSUs offered at mini-box.com - does anyone have any experience with these? From my research people seem happy with them, but can they support 2-6 SATA drives + motherboard? I know they offer up to 160 watts now.

Maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree - can I get similar energy efficiency from a standard 80+ ATX psu?

Thanks a ton.

I would estimate about half that: 50 Watts.

I am using the same Atom processor, two HDDs (non green) and have a case fan and PSU fan, I estimate my usage to be about 40 Watts:

CPU + MB: 20
2 x HDDs: 16
3 x flash drives: 3
2 x fans: 2

Total: 41 Watts

I am using a m-ATX PSU ATM, a 250W (yeah, right) I think, but I am considering a PicoPSU-80.
