I want to boot vnc on RP5 bootup. Ive tried the raspi-config setting for vnc but it doesnt work. I have to run vncserver :1 everytime. I have tightvncserver installed which works but needs to be manually restarted each time RP5 is rebooted. Any ideas. Thanks

Use the built in VNC. RPI OS uses Wayland which incorporates VNC and works very well. Another option is to use RPI Connect to remote control the Pi. RPI Connect works well from the internet without need to do port forward.
