Asus RT-AX88U FWare 3.0.0.4.386_45375
During a discussion with Amazon / Ring 2nd level support the situation of being in a Multi-NAT setup arose as the likely reason for failure of the Ring App to connect with the Ring server to up/download video clips.
So far I've let this NAT situation remain a) because I didn't understand what to do about it and b) because it didn't seem to be affecting me. Now it has. All wireless is disabled on the BT Hub and I can't see any easy idiot's way of resolving this short of spend more dosh just to get a doorbell system to work :-(...
Any and all suggestions would be very much appreciated please.
I've got a bunch of previous routers in the cupboard, even an OpenReach Modem only NGA ECI-CPE-MODEMS TYPE 1B (alongside Voda, Sky, Technicolor and several prior iterations of BT Hubs)
I've got the best part of a year contracted to BT left
TIA
Jamie
PS FWIW I did get a free DDNS address from NO-IP - no idea if this is relevant just laying it out there in case ;-)
