Good afternoon all.
So, I jumped in and purchased an AX88U on sale. I was looking for the AX86U, but I have no need for a 2.4Gbit port and the the AX88U was on for a very good special (as compared to the AX86U).
I plan on using it for an access point and back up router. Just browsing the router and I see that the internal lan port mapping appear to be simular or the same as the AC88U. As I have never used the AC88U, was wondering if anyone can confirm for me the following;
eth0 is the WAN port
eth1 to 4 are ports 1 to 4 (or 4 to 1, which ever the case may be)
eth5 is actually the internal switch for ports 5 to 8
eth6 and eth7 are the wifi radios
If eth5 is as I suspect, is there a way, from the CLI, to get statistics (TX/RX) of the internal switch on a per port basis? I see in the GUI that ASUS can determine if anything is plugged into ports 5 to 8, so, I figure there has to be a way to dig the port stats out for the internal port.
Thanks in advance
