New Around Here
Hello,

I have a strange issue with my Ax88u Merlin. When I run a speed test within the router itself, I achieve a full speed of 1 Gbps. However, over wifi, I only get a download speed of up to 300 Mbps, while the upload speed ranges between 800 and 900 Mbps.

I've tried everything and consulted various forums and topics, but I can't find the problem. I've also performed multiple resets, including a nuclear reset.

Could you please assist me further? I'm feeling quite desperate.

It sounds suspiciously like HW acceleration is disabled. What do you see at Tools - System Information > HW acceleration?

What firmware version are you using?

Yes, with Ethernet I am getting full speed.
Ah, OK. So this is a Wi-Fi-only problem. So probably nothing to do with hardware acceleration.

What link speeds are you getting for the client in System Log - Wireless Log ?

HW accelerationRunner: Enabled - Flow Cache: Enable

If you monitor that page, open another browser window and run a speed test what is the maximum RX Rate that you see?
